I was wondering where in the lower Thames river, (Thamesville to Lighthouse Cove) it would be legal to float a canoe down for ducks. More importantly where it wouldn't be legal though. I know within city limits is off bounds of course but would I be restricted anywhere else?

I'm also thinking about the Syndenham but havne't had much experience on that river, so if anyone knows a good stretch for easy put in and take out spots, I'd really love the advise.

Thanks, and have a nice day

I think the another problem area might be the baited area near Bradley's. As far as regulations as long as you're not motoring your canoe and are following the guidelines for safe discharge you are good to go.

400M from a baited site according to the regs...
We always use to go to St. Clair and set some magnum geese decoys out in front of Bradley's. We would have a guy in a boat to pick up downed birds and we would "hide" behind the magnums.
I wish I could use a call.... :(

One other thing... If you end up at the Cove Marina Please shoot away from my boat.... LOL

Good Luck
