Duck hunting New Brunswick

looking for people to hunt with in mew brunswick area this will be the first year with me living in moncton and i would like to find some good spots around the moncton area to hunt any good ideas ?
or if anyone is looking for someone to go with let me know i have floating decoys air activated decoys choc lab and a lanyard full of calls
 
There is absolutely no waterfowling in New Brunswick ;) , least of all around Moncton.
Actualy we have it pretty good, you're a little late to be looking for much help early this season, guys have their traditional openning morning spots all sorted out and aren't likely to share.
I'm not an expert on the moncton area but the salt marshes would be a good bet. Get a Topo map and look for small lakes and ponds then go exploring chances are the hot spots have been marked by now, but You may stumble onto a hidden jem. Best of luck and don't get discouraged, openning week can be a bit of a mad house anyway, but after deer season starts and the yahoos leave the marshes things get better.
Join the local gun club and skeet and trap club and try to make friends, you maybe able to find a hunting partner.

thanks for the info i do have a spot picked out for oct 1st allready but it is about 30-40 min past sussex just looking for the ideal spot for a quick morning hunt before i have to go to work through out the week i have been looking at topo maps since june of this year but i will also look into the salt marshes where are they located i never heard of them if you dont want to give the exact location you can pm me

A few things to know about in NB.

1). You can hunt from the side of the road, unlike most provinces. This may result in you being handcuffed at gunpoint by the RCMP, but in the end they will have to let you go with an apology.

2). There are a LOT of bears around to shoot.

3). Use this http: //geonb.snb.ca/geonb/ website to scout rural hunting spots. It's excellent. You can even measure distances from houses to know where you can legally shoot.

4). That extra month of sea duck hunting in February is a ton of fun, but the ducks you get will probably taste like crap. Or fish. Or fishy crap.

LMFAO thanks for the info man !! sounds like you were let go with an apology or two before ill defenetly check out the site i was guessing using google maps
i do know there are a lot of bears a buddie of mine has a several spots picked for that i just have the duck fever right now !!! i hunted last year on the ken river near hapmton last year with good luck
ever need another on a trip let me know ill do the same if i find a good spot aswell
