Took my cousin out duck hunting this morning. He'd never gone before. He had just bought a Winchester 120 and was itchin' to use it. We spent last night rigging decoys and were out in the marsh at 6 this morning. He had a great day - shot two black ducks, although he lost one to a hawk (left it behind for me to retrieve with my waders, and it was gone when we went back). He did better than I did . . . I missed a couple good chances.
Anyway, it felt pretty good to get a new guy out - especially when he said he was hooked. I mean, I'm a new guy myself, only started last year - but it felt good!
