I just heard the push was on out there, we had a pile move in the last few days. always nice to see new birds hit the area. Some day I'll find my way out to paradise...Even if it is only for a few days it'll happen. Gotta get a nice bar belly. Ontario isn't getting any less crowded with people. Opening day had scatter guns roaring all over the place

This past weekend saw a major push from a combination of wind shift, temp drops and a full moon. Birds were still passing over the house at 1:30 am before I finally dozed off. Come on out and get that bar belly! There is something about hearing them approaching with that two note high pitch whistle like ha-ha that gets you hunkered under the layout blind doors just a bit deeper in anticipation of getting a crack at them.
