has any one had a prblem with remming ton yelow jackets not going bang several tiems they have failted to eject properly as well they are a great round out of the 3 cci's and 2 AE types they are have the best balistic preformance testing them on sm soft swamp muck the blow 5+ inch hole's in the ground where others barely make a 3 inch hole

the gun is a remington 597

I bought a case of Yellowjackets last January and I'll bet I've had at least 10% not go bang. It also depends on which gun I'm using. My AR15 .22 (dedicated) has a JP match trigger with a light hammer spring and that contributes to it but my Ruger MKIII has had problems with the Yellowjackets not going bang as well, only maybe about 5% of the time.

FTE has also dogged my AR15 .22 and my R22 but my 10/22 doesn't seem to have a problem with them. If it wasn't for the fact that my AR15 loves Yellwojackets for accuracy (don't ask me why) I would get rid of them.

Very unreliable.:(:(:(

I've never tried yellow jackets but for cartriges with a bit of punch I always go with cci velocitors.

Never had a failure to feed or stovepipe with them in my 10/22. A bit pricey at forty something dollars for a brick of 500 though...

Nope. I shoot yellowjackets every year for gophers, all went bang. Matter of fact, I've been shooting for about 35 years and I can count the duds I've encountered on 1 hand. From all brands combined. Rifle and handgun.

Hmmmm, maybe I have'nt tweaked my guns enough yet.....

Have used YJ for everything from squirrels and gophers to paper, have shot a few K through Cooey 39, 10\22 and a 597. Not one single dud from this brand.

No problem with YJ in 10/22, no single one, had one FTF in Marlin 795, that all, Remington Golden Bullet FTF a lot, like on 20 one will ftf, even more on marlin like from 20 to 3 ftf.

I've had lots of problems with remington rimfire recently. I pulled the bullets on the last batch that didn't fire. The primer material was pretty spotty and there wasn't near enough there to light the cartridge off.

This was on 25 rounds in a 400 round bulk pack. Needless to say I will stick with minimags from now on.

I emailed remington about it but didn't hear back.
