Dueling Tree

Hi,
I ordered a Dueling Tree for from "Action Targets" for .22 Cal.
Had it out at the range today and what a blast we had with this, very well made product!

Cool! Do you have any pics? I've made quite a few of my own rimfire target stands and a duelling tree is something I'd really like to have. Would make one if I could or just buy one if it's too much trouble.

I built one last weekend, took about 4 hrs if you don't count paint. I just used regular steel so I doubt it would stand up long to center fire rounds, but you can shoot 22 at it all day. If you do decide to build one I suggest you design it so you can adjust the angle that it tips forward as you can tweak how easily the targets swing. Too much angle and 22 won't kick them around, not enough and they swing around and bounce and don't seat properly on the other side.. I found that you may need to adjust it with the distance you intend to shoot it from.. It's loads of fun though

Can you guys that built them also put up some pix? Id like to have one that can stand up to more power then a 22lr (like hmr,223)

.223 would be difficult, you'd need to use 3/8" ar 500 and set it ~100 yards away. You could probably get away with 1/4" ar400 for 9mm and 17hmr

Ya was thinking about 200-300 yards with a 223 and 100 with hmr. Ill have to do some searching.

Not the ones ive ive looked at. Some of them lean forward abit so gravity holds them in place.

Is there a source for AR550 armor steel targets in Canada?? If I ordered three Action Targets, the total cost with shipping and duty would be over 1200!! unreal.
