Dumb hunting question in Alberra

So im gearing up for this year hunting season. My question is, i dree a tag for antlerless mule deer south of stettler. Am i still able to purchase a mule general tag as some of the wmu i frequent mule buck are general. Or am i only limited to the one mule deer

yes you can, unlike antlerless elk draw tag and general elk license where you can only purchase one or the other

I've held both an antlerless and antlered mulie tag at the same time for the same WMU.

Exactly! When in doubt, read the regs. A person can hold a special antlerless mule deer license and a mule deer license, but not a special antlered license and a mule deer license.

Yep, and I quoted the wrong section of the right document.

As I read it right now, there are 20 tags available for an Alberta resident to hold at the same time, across the species lists. Many of the deer tags come with more than one tag at the purchase.

LOTS of great opportunities for a hunter in Alberta that is willing to travel around the place!
