Dumb Luck (56 K Warning)

I was in Wolverine Sports in Yellowknife a few days ago and saw this. I could not believe my luck. It is a CZ 452 in 22 mag. The cartridge worries me a bit as I have never owned one before and do not know what to do with it. But I could not resist the wood.

It's a great round just think of it as a 22lr on steroids. Congrats! Love the wood too.

Nice CZ american - they are great shooters. 22 Mag is a little more pricier then LR but it has better ballistics and is a bit cheaper then HMR ammo. What kind of scope you gonna put on it?

CZ are tack drivers. Good choice of caliber too.

I don't know. I have an extra Leopold VX III 2.5-8 kicking around. I might try that. Do think that is a good scope for a 22 mag?

That would be a great scope for that rifle, I have one on a ruger 22hornet with the bc ret, works great

You will love that .22 Mag. Try some of the higher end ammo offerings...they are quite impressive (i.e. explosive) on small game.

Once you shoot the Magnum round, it is hard to go back. Great looking stock. I would have purchased it on the spot as well.
