Anybody ever leave their brass in the solution for a day or so after tumbling? I haven't done it, but I'm guessing there shouldn't be any corrosion or staining issues or anything?........Can't usually get home early enough to tumble a batch and dry them before bedtime.....

I use dish soap and a smidgen of lemi shine. There shouldn't be anything corrosive in that solution. I have left brass overnight many times and have had no issue.
Best of luck, I'm sure you will be very happy with ss media. If I don't get my uber shine that I'm after, I rinse them all out and giv'r a short round two and voila, an uber shine that will make your friends envious.

I'm asking because I've read that some guys will drop them for a bit in the traditional tumblers.
The water will be very dirty from the initial cleaning. The brass is super clean at this stage but the brass may not be uber shiny. I rinse out the brass and ss media and do it again for about an hour or so. After this second round the brass is awesome.

I fill my tumbler the night before running it, usually just after emptying the previous batch. In the morning I put it on the tumbler and plug it into a timer set to start in the mid afternoon and finish a couple hours later, right around when get home.
Just want you to know that Lemishine is crystalized citric acid!!!... It is mildly corrosive... any acid is.. but should not damage brass due to the low concentration...
