Why is the Tango Down Vertical Foregrip so much more than the others that 'appear' to be the same? Is it really worth that much more, and if so, why?

I have a B&T grip from Switzerland, its about twice the price or maybe even alittle more than the Tango down. I almost never use it anymore. Lately ive started to think that vert grips are a waste of time when your only using a 10 round mag as theres no much weight to balance. Just a nice novelty item. Get whichever one you like as long as its a good fit on your rail and try it out.

It is better because unlike most other design it doesn't use a plastic pin that will shear off to lock onto the handguard,it locks up tight and stays that way. The only complaints I've heard about them are from cheapskates who don't purchase a properly spec'd rail.

who likes the folding one that our CF are apparently using? I believe SOCCOM supply sells them?

The CADEX grips are junk, they are made from some crappy plastic that snaps on almost any impact, even the TD knock off they were trying to sell (and got spanked for)the military would be better than this POS.

When shooting standing a VG helps - end of story. Anyone who shoots standing well without a VG will get better using a VG - IMHO...;)
