Bolt action don't have magazine size limits that only applies to semi automatic rifles, also I'm pretty sure the lee enfeild can't have a magazine bigger then 10 because they made semi and full auto versions of which 2 or 3 remain world wide
Since the MAS36 is a manual bolt action repeater, the magazines made for it are not subject to capacity limits.
Since the MAS49 is a semi-auto centrefire long gun, it does not have a capacity limit, but any magazine made for it does. The regulations apply to the magazines, not the gun. A MAS49 magazine that is not pinned to a maximum capacity of five rounds is a prohibited device.

I have a Lee Enfield with a 12rd magazine. It maybe a Ishapore 2A1 in 7.62x51 Nato but it is still a Lee Enfield. That exemption was made as the people making the laws at the time had no clue how they would work (everyone thought a magazine over 5rds had to be pinned as opposed to a centerfire semi-auto rifle magazine having to be pinned to 5rds).
