I just picked up a Kel-tec Sub2000 (the one that uses glock magazines) and the question is will it use Glock 17 magazines or the 19? I plan to buy some more magazines but I like to know if there is a specific magazine I need to get or if anyone of them would do? Also does anyone know where I can get the factory default magazine (10 round OEM Glock magazine) that Kel-tech ships with the gun? Thanks in advance!

Kel-Tec website says it can use either, meaning it's probably a G19 magwell. the magazines are nearly identical with the only diference being that the G17 is longer, so the G17 magazine will fit into a G19 with some extra hanging out the bottom, but a G19 magazine will not fit a G17 as it is too short for the floorplate to clear the grip. additionally, the .40 S&W magazines for the G22 and 23 are the same profile as the G17 and G19 magazines respectively, so they will also fit the magwell. Though a .40 S&W will not chamber, the magazines can be used with 9mm and legally hold more than the 10 round limit, but some people have reported feeding issues with this setup, as always YMMV.

I am fairly certain that my Kel-tech Sub2000 uses Glock 17 magazines, I just checked some youtube videos and the Glock 19 magazine will be too short to use without cutting down the grip so I am going to get the Glock 17 magazines instead.

Kel-Tec makes two versions of the 9mm Glock-mag Sub2000: the G17 version with a longer pistol grip/ magwell, and the G19 version with the shorter pistol grip/ magwell.

The G19 version takes both Glock 17 and 19 mags (the 19 mag fits flush, the 17 mag extends lower).

The G17 version only accepts Glock 17 mags.

Guys with the G17 Sub2000 can dremel the plastic pistol grip shorter to accept the shorter Glock 19 mags.
(Some good Youtube videos on tips when doing this).
