Hi lildave, I'll be joining them for the deer hunt next month :dancingbanana:
I'll give Dumbdawg his space right now.. it's a good thing ;) and as he stated I will get a well deserved break :p ;) :dancingbanana: Wooo Hooo!! house to myself for 12 days! :D :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: ect....
 
I am certain I am not the only one to say Good luck to you in the deer hunt, and we ALL expect to see the photos of mommabear with her first deer.

The party...waiting to hear from the guys ... can you say MOOSE!!! :D I hope they get one.. but most of all I hope they have fun.

I read your thread on the clearing of wood.. never ending this year is it?

Knowing those fellas Momma. They will have one down. By about 9:00 a.m. Sat. Have it back to camp. By no later than 3:00 p.m. Then have about
59 kagillion canadians in them by 7:30 p.m LOL! I hope they do well. I'm sure Chris especially will have the time of his life!

Your so right Triton. Chris was up bright and early yesterday and ready to go. Got a call from Dumbdawg last night ... they just got into ThunderBay around 10pm , exhausted. Suppose to call this morning before they head out to Fort Frances.

I'll keep ya posted ;)

All the way in my cousin kept saying "there's no trees around the camp, it's clear, at least it will be safe....
He was right, but just barely, a large maple, and a poplar just missed wiping the kitchen off the back of the building. We had to cut our way through to the door.
Lots of firewood anyway.
The lack of much in the way of moose sign was almost as depressing as hunting with calf tags.
Oh well, we've had lack of sign before, and seen plenty of moose.

I hope your guys are packing their cameras.

Looks like someone was looking out for ya's ( supply of fire wood) ;) :D

My BF left tonight for moose hunting and I have also rearranged the freezer for some more meat.
So wishing all the hunters out there this week a good safe hunt.
And to my man(Come home safe!)

Now what to do with the rest of my time???
