You may not be able to do it but someone with inletting tools and a lot of glass bedding might be able to do it. Many used to put Brno 22's into CIL 190 stocks...

I don't mind having it professionally done.
I was more worried about the durability and stability as it is technically made for small bore calibre (22LR) etc.

there is one for sale on here.
I know a base A5 would run me $1000 as I was told.

Have you considered a Grayboe Renegade? The shape is the same as an A5 and you can get them readily.

Redhawk rifles out of the states has them they are under the $500 itar stuff so they come across no problem. You can get SA/LA, M5 inlet or hinged floorplate.
