Well my go to for many years has been the maxpadition rolly polly and the blue Force gear micro.
What do you feel is missing from most dump pouches?
If you could build one, what features would you include.

I use an SOE dump pouch and it's pretty good
However if there was a divider inside it, so as to make one pouch with two compartments. A sack that could be shut with a draw string if you wanted to....I think this would be awesome. One side for empty mags and one side for full mags....or whatever you want to put in there, empty brass or berries etc... A divider that's what I would do. And maybe even make it removable via velcro. just so the option to use or not use the two compartments is still available. Then you would also have an extra some what water tight bag as well as the dump pouch.

Umm intreating concept

I really want to try one of the dump pouches that basically have "pass-through" molle where they attach to your belt, basically letting you attach1 or 2 mag pouches "through" the dump pouch, so you don't lose any belt real estate. Essentially you can still attach 2x rifle mag pouches on your weak side and since they attach through the dump pouch, the dump pouch use the same molle space and just rolls up below the mag pouches when not in use, if that makes sense?

I have been a long time user of the BFG micro myself and I’ve loved it. I want something as lightweight and low profile as possible which I think they achieve best. I really only have one gripe with it - there’s no drainage. A similar design with a couple gussets in the bottom would be everything I could ever ask for in a dump pouch

A half-flap at the top really makes a world of difference for retainment, especially if swapping mags for shells. I also like a smaller dump pouch. The Rolypoly mini has been a favorite for that reason. Lastly, the ability to direct thread to a belt. Sometimes I like to throw mine on a standard belt without the hassle.

TL : DR - half-flap on top for retainment, smaller size, built in belt loops.
