I recently purchased a Savage 10fp in .223 and would like to tackle painting the stock. I know what I need more or less to do a good job. More to the point I wanted a Precison Carbine with the digital camo stock, couldn't wait any longer and got a smokin' deal on the fp.

My issue is i'm about 75% color blind and need some help duplicating the specific colors. I could fool around for days trying different combo's but figured you guys could help me out.
Heres what I want to duplicate.

Cheers, Chris.

Seems to me that your spray Krylon Matte Series of paints will do the job :D, They've got OD green, light Sand, and Darker Green, as well as Super Matte Black....and it's really nice (bought it yesterday)

Pick up Krylon from Canadian tire and a $20 digital camo pattern from brownells.
Start with a couple layers of Kylon primer, then a solid layer of black, then apply a bunch of digital stickers, then a layer of Olive, then a whole bunch more stickers, then a layer of tan. Make sure that the stickers are placed in such a way to bring out the end pattern you want. The primary color will be you last coat. Let the paint harden then carefully peel the stickers. An exacto knife helps. Then a layer or 2 of krylon matt hardened clear coat and Voila! $400 dollar paint job for $50. Mind you its not as durable as Duracoat, but it will hold up pretty good.

That one has black, olive and khaki*(tan).
This is what you want.

I can't find a photo for the primer and matt clear coat hardener, but Canuktire carries all of it.

You will have to do the darker green with the NEGATIVE stencil but even the stencil sold by ANYBODY is far from what you have now... Sorry to disapoint you but better know before doing the job.... Your camo pattern is probably done in water transfer process because of the CANTED camo at the stock and grip....
To me, you should try to match the metal part with only 1 color,OD green or Coyote should be NICE..., if your scope is BLACK and the ring too, you can cut with the botom metal, bolt and bolt body in mate black....
