Anyone every use the dura coat parkerizing from fabsports. Is there just one solution? I've used dura coat products before just never parkerizing. I want the same finish as is on my m14.

Parkerizing doesn't get sprayed on. It's done with chemicals(duracoat's solutions) and dip tanks. Parkerizing comes out black(manganese) or shades of grey(zinc) depending on the chemical and the steel it goes on. It works on steel only. It does not on SS or Al.
Duracoat's phosphating solutions require the parts to be dipped too. They're not spray on. Complete degreasing is essential as well.
Use the manganese if you want an M-14/M305 colour.
