Had purchased a cva cascade second hand. Buddy had put a pic rail on it, perfect I was going to do that anyway.
Get it home and try to put on a set of rings and they don't fit, Burris zee steel rings, rail too wide, try weaver rings same thing. Try a red dot with pic rail Mount same thing.
Take it off and it looks like whoever built it described over the phone to the builder what a pic rail is supposed to be and asked them to build it. Very poor casting by the looks of it, Found a part number DS617B, and it comes up as a Durasight part. Not sure if all their stuff is like this, just wanted to share and hopefully nobody else gets a lemon. Ordered a replacement egw, and it has nice sharp edges and the rings fit.
