thought I should share my Very positive experience with Durham Outdoors here.
I’m tired of the internet and the negativity that overrides the good news. Unfortunately, sometimes it's often only the pissed off people who tend to be vocal.

In this day and age, individual service for the little guys like us is sometimes overlooked because of understaffing and that we are such a small "necessary evil" and sometimes a general pain in the a$$ to look after. Living the last 30 years in the retail service industry, I can completely understand this. It's not so easy looking after delicate situations when you know that the customer already has his trigger finger on the mouse just waiting to report a bad experience to the world - many times not even completely true...

It’s not often when value surpasses price. However, this was my experience.
Mike at Durham outdoors made my experience completely enjoyable, relaxed, and quite frankly exciting…

I will do business with Durham Outdoors in the future and I will continue to tell everyone about their great professionalism and service!

Great guy and store to deal with.. Have made a few transactions and all have been great and trouble-free!
 
I had a somewhat mixed transaction with them. I had purchased a 1911 through them and bought a couple of boxes of .45acp along with the purchase. It was to mailed to me very quickly, I received the pistol in short order but never received my ammo. I had sent several emails asking about the ammo but with no reply and no refund on the ammunition. They were easy to deal with until I had an issue. I would probably purchase another firearm through them, just not ammunition. I'm not sure on the regs about mailing ammo but i'm pretty sure good ole Canada post would mail it for the right price, and if it was an issue mailing ammo, then I don't get why Durham didn't inform me of the issue and refunded the cost of the ammo. Just my 2 cents. Like I said, very fast service but not the greatest at communication.
 
Ive never been to the shop, but I have ordered a few times and he's delivered it personally. Top notch service from Mike @ Durham outdoors
