You only see the bad deals on EE because the good ones are gone pretty much as soon as they are listed.
This is probably my next gun to get. Just don't have the cash right now -- just bought another rifle.

None have been imported yet, and to be honest there is no difference to the end user except that the "commercial" (US) tavor has QD cups instead of paradise cord holes, and we will also now be getting OD green as a color option.

You must not watch the ee much. I see OEM T97 roll across there between $600-800 frequently, and the the FTU version for $1000-1200, and the FTU/LHG models for $1200-1400 regularly.

This is true. If a really good deal pop's up on the ee it's likely gone if your not the first to look at it.
