Hello,

I would like some information on ranges in the Durham Region. I have heard good things about the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club, but can't find any information regarding membership (Accepting new members/price?) their website does not seem to be operational. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Any other ranges in the area that people would recommend? (I have mostly long guns).

Last I heard they were accepting members only for the Shotgun range (skeet, trap and 5 stand). The renewal is 250 a year, I do not remember what the initial fee is (maybe 250-300) Other ranges in the area are Union Rod and Gun Club and the Marksman Club. Then there is one in Port Perry and a couple in Peterborough

Orono Fish and Hunt Club which I am a member of. Outdoor handgun, rifle, skeet and trap (although skeet and trap have been shutdown for the time being)

Membership is inexpensive, people are great but you are limited to Weds and Sunday shooting.

They did suspend new memberships but I think that was temporary. Perhaps someone can confirm.

Thanks for the replys guys. For Orono, is the range crowded on Sundays? Are there dedicated R.O.'s? What is the process for application and what are the fees?

Do they do day passes so you can check it out?
