Good day folks

My local walmart has a decent stock of Winchester Dynapoint 22lr. The boxes look a tad old. White boxes with blue and red lettering. Anyone have experience with this ammo? It's listed for 36 dollars for a brick of 500.

This seems like a decent price. If the general consensus says its not crap, i may clear them out.

Winchester White Box is not known for being super high quality. It may or may not work well with your .22's, so try 1 box and if you like it grab some more.

the dynapoints that i've tried are o.k. but not the best.
some misfires and somewhat cheap looking.
for bulk i would get the federal champion 525 box if you can find them.
like i said dynapoints are ok and for that price is a good deal.

The Dynapoints shoot very well and are accurate in my CZ 452.
Haven't seen the white box for a while,
The black box GT's have been good too but the prices got too high.

I have about 10 bricks of 40 gr roundnose hollow point Dynapoint. Extremely accurate out of my 10/22. Dime size groups at 25yds are the norm and they are deadly accurate out to 100-110 yards on gophers. I have probably put 8 bricks through my 10/22 and never had a ftf.

Old dyna points are a little bit subsonic as well, 1050 fps or so, I have bought these from Walmart when they were 13.95, a great buy back in the day

I remember WM selling those box's of 555 ammo for $17.95. I bought 2 every paycheck for 3-4 month's. I'm sitting pretty good now

I have found they shot well in dozens of different bolt/semi's plus .22lr pistols I have owned over the years. I usually pick some up to have in stock in my safe. Not always the best accuracy, and occasional FTF, but rechambering them often gets them to go off on the second firing pin strike. Clean them out (except the 2 boxes you must save for Robab)

I got my 2 boxes. Thanks for keeping me in mind and not clearing the spot out. Walmart 22 prices aren't so attractive as they used to be.

As is CT these day's. With the dollar possibly going down the toilet it's only going to get worse I'm afraid. It's really hard for me to pass up a good deal on any of my flavors of ammo cause the price will only go up so I tell myself I will actually will be saving money if I buy it now lol
