I believe early in the year they were $17+ a brick and then in early spring they jumped to $18+ per brick. Went to the local walmart today and saw they were $22+ a brick.
2 years ago they were $12+ a brick. Holy price increase batman

Like I've said before, forget RRSP's and such, invest in ammo and firearms. :D

I bought a brick of 500 American Eagle 40gr solids today for my daughter for $25 tx in. ( well, actually there was no tax) I've never bought that many .22's before so I have no idea if its a good price, but it should keep my daughter busy for a little while :D

Yeah, I bought 20 bricks of Dynapoint 2-3 years ago when they were $12. I'm glad I did. I still have about 12 bricks left. Still, I should buy more Now, because they aren't going to get any cheaper.

crappy tire $20.50 for a brick of federal's. bought four, worst buy ever. I have a semi-auto with a tubular mag, the heads of these cheap a$$ rounds a sooooooo lose that the rifle jams every second of third round. you can pull them off with you hands.

I bought some Xperts for $19 a box, they are crappy, i was wondering how the Federals were, thanks for the heads up, glad i didn't spend more for the same crappy quality.

Really? I bought a box of 500 with my Mark II and I've gone through half the box without any problems, not even a single misfire....

I bought up the last 4 boxes from the Langley store, they aren't great but the accuracy is amazing in my std barrel 10-22. My 10 year old daughter should have them gone before the summer is out

i've burned off a good case of xperts over the last 2 years. Only had 2 concerns. One was a case rupture and the other was they wont feed in my savage MKII. Other than that, I found them to have very very few duds and seemed to be accurate enough for bulk ammo.

I used a mix of 2 bricks ofWinchester Expert hollow point and 333s...had one dud in the lot and found accuracy quite pleasing. There were not many misses persay. the guns used were 1936 Marlin bolt, 1947 Mossy semi auto and 3 year old Stevens bolt. One missload and that was by the dud not reloading the semi.

i own a savage mrkII and that gun loves the federals its shoots great with them, but every so often i get a no fire. i like these rounds i find them to shoot consistently, maybe not the best bullets around but for 22.50 for a box of 525 at canadian tire its the best deal around. (best sporting store in windsor ontario, feel free to start a business here and i would spend all my money there). i supose that just goes to show that not all batches are consistent with one another maybe you got a bad batch. i wish so badly that i could buy even cheap rounds at walmart. in windsor i dont know if its the same all over ontario but walmart doesnt even sell pellet guns.

cheers.

I bought 2 boxes of expert in the silver box today in Dartmouth 16.99 a box of 500.and 2 boxes of 333 for 12.99 a box.my 10/22 shots both very well.they could be a bit cleaner.
