Looking to make myself a new years gift and get started with some local predator control.

lots of feedback from foxpro users, less from Wildlife Technologies but seems highly regarded and possibly superior than Foxpro as far as loudness and clarity.

Also wondering how far someone gets with a simple Foxpro Spitfire ?

I'm quite satisfied with the compactness, performance, and battery life of my Foxpro FX3, and for that matter, the price as compared to a Wildlife Tech unit.

can't beat the sounds from foxpro. Excellent battery life and great customer service. I dont know anyone withthe WT one, but that doesnt mean they are bad. I have a fx3 and love it, does everything I want.

Go with the FX3...400 bucks across the line. You won't be dissapointed. The remote works past 200 yards in flat terrain as well...a big plus for yote parking.

Only complaint I have with my FX3 is that the batteries don't last too long in sub zero weather...I'm talking -18 degree celcius stuff and below as we are getting now. But then again what is built to function in western Canada during the winter?

Either way you go with an e-caller, nothing beats the flexibility and simple effectiveness of a good set of mouth calls in capable hands. They don't need batteries, they weigh next to nothing, and no two calling sequences need ever be the same. I always make sure I have my mouth calls with me, just in case.

Foxpro - in my opinion is the cadillac of callers made in the US family owned company, stands by their products easy to deal with, overal great.

WT - I dunno, a buick, maybe... Could be good but do you really want to take a chance and get yourself one?
