Just trying to find out if e-callers are allowed on deer in ontario. And if they work as good as they claim.

Yup you can use E-callers in Ontario..... If you use good recordings then yes they will work great I would use a foxpro and either download sounds off the net or record your own sounds using good mouth calls and transfer them to the caller.

You can also get a really good mic, and record some real life distress sounds, but I think you would have to be one sick #### to intentionally do something like that.

I think anyone who does or would do that should be used as predator bait!

Anyhow ur good to go in Ontario. Except turkeys, no e-callers for turkeys, pure bs I know!

A friend brought one of those cheapo electronic push button jobs to camp this year.
Had us all laughing, sounded nothing like a deer. No wonder he got it at a yard sale.
If you go this route, spend the $ and get a good one.
