E.R Shaw Target barrels

The specs are not bad on it. Just be prepared it has a Bentz chamber in it so no more CCI stingers. For the price, they are not bad. I would put them on the consistency of a factory bull barrel (without being hammer forged.) Should be an ok upgrade if you have a sporter now. Depending on what your goal is, if you want the best accuracy, KIDD or Volquartsen will make a better product.

I would sooner buy a dlask barrel if you want a cheaper barrel. Plus dlask barrels are made with green mountain blanks and they tend to be accurate in my experience

bits of pieces in Delta, BC has Green Mountain barrels. Cost is typically around $200 for a barrel. Barry seems to go through them pretty fast, so if he doesn't have what you want, try back in a month.

Back in my 10/22 days, I had great luck with them. Very accurate, high quality barrels. Apparently their reject barrels are sold by Butler Creek.
I have a friend that had a very accurate Butler Creek 10/22 sporter barrel.

Good to know! Its for my wife rifle, mostly plinking I think a more expensive barrel will be a waste.

Any issues with importing barrels from Brownells?

importing is easy enough, just do the paperwork and wait... but personally, I would go through the trouble for ER Shaw barrel. 1. The exchange rate isn't that great. 2. There are other options readily available in Canada
