I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about these. They seem like a damned easy way to stick a muzzle brake onto a Norinco M14s; why haven't they caught on?

Yeah, I've got an SEI Navy brake, but my eBay addiction took me a guy selling American-made repro's for $60 US. By all accounts, his particular repops are of fine quality (unlike the Taiwanese knock-offs), and at that price I was just curious to see if anyone had any first-hand experience.

Yes, I have one of these. It works wonderfully well. Ray Kryza's reproduction M14E2 muzzle stabilizer has seen lots and lots of use on my select fire M1A. Every 1000 rounds or so, you do need to clean up the carbon residue on the inside of it. NBD
