EAA EZ9...is it available in Canada?

Made by Zastava in Serbia and imported by the European American Armory in US. Does anyone know if it's available in Canada? Here's a good write-up of the gun.

Hmm, interesting. Looks like a cheap Sig, but it's not. I'd be interested in hearing more about these and seeing some make their way over here.

I think one of the dealers here was thinking of bringing them in from Europe. but under a diff. name CZ99 I think

CZ99 was the original release of the gun. Here's more unofficial information on the origins and the history of the gun. By the way, EZ9 is a standard issue weapon for Serbian police and military.

The are a bit clunky and not that cheap. Price would likely retail for about $600

I wonder if we wouldn't run into the same problem as with some other European manufacturers, in that they won't do neutered mags for us. I think the Astra (sp?) 9mm had that issue.

Looking at the Zastava's website, EZ9 does come with a 10 or 15 round magazine in 9mm and a 10 round magazine in .40 S&W. I don't think this should be an issue

Yes $499 ish retail for the various Zastava 9-series pistols. I have the factory price list on my desk.

CanAm how much would the an extra magazine be for an EZ9? I think I read somewhere that it only comes with a single mag.

Yes, the fit and finish is well above Norinco. A had a look at them 2 weeks ago.

I think there is a market for them maybe bring in some Bersa 9's as well.
