"Eagerly Waiting for the Nork T97" Support Thread

Are you saying you are going to put one up for the price you paid for 2 ?

lol - no, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm going to buy 2 for $1070(ish) each, and put one up for sale for the $1070(ish) I paid for it (shipping and GST).

If I get a flood of offers in the first few days, I'll say "highest bidder" to everyone who PM's me.

If it takes a week for me to get an offer or I don't get many offers, the first "I'll take it" gets it.

If no one wants to buy it - well, I'll have a spare.

I'm not really in it to make a profit (although that's always nice).

I'm in it to make sure there is one more unregistered, non-restricted bullpup in the hands of a licensed Canadian gun owner with a police and government audit-able paper trail that ends at me. That's my way of giving the middle finger to the gun grabbers of Canada.

I'll ask the buyer (along with a pool of others) to provide me phone number via PM and settle the details of the transaction on the phone or in person - in full compliance with the LETTER of the law.

None of the buyers information will be recorded by me.

If the business who sold the rifle to me gets served a warrant to turn in their ledger of sales - well, the door thumpers can come to my house if they chose. They'll find my guns including the one T97 I decided to keep for myself, but they won't find that one rifle I lawfully sold off.

They can search through my CGN account, my e-mails, phone logs, bank records - but they aren't going to find anything to let them determine the whereabouts of that rifle, and neither I or the buyer will have broken a single law.

Personally, I'd probably pay a premium for such a gun if I were a prospective buyer to get a gun knowing all that...

I have a feeling that ALL guns whereabouts, (bought from any store) restricted and NON restricted are known to the Govt. Buy PRIVATE SALE!

Fixed it for you, otherwise I 100% agree with you.

That's why I pre-ordered two T97's. To private sale one and give the gun grabbers the middle finger.

To those who despair at not getting in on the pre-order list. Don't worry - at least one person is going to get a brand new T97 close to it's release date that the government can't track down.

The minute the package with the 2 rifles is sitting in my living room, one of them is going up on the EE.

I'll take it. =o)

Al Flaherty's, that's Who would get my $$ !!

Great bunch of guys, had very positive experiences with them up to date. Already put up my deposit.. I figured the orders from the manufacturer will probably be coming up a bit short until the initial rush is over, so it's better to be first in line with money down. Bonus points: they're within almost reasonable driving distance from my place (very close but through the worst of Toronto's traffic) so I can pick mine up the day they unwrap the skid.

Harbl,,,what would you say if you found out that there is a conspiracy among some CGN'ers with an importer to bring in only one, special edition, 'My Little Pony' Type 97?
Of course it will already be spoken for and we won't let you buy it.

I plan on doing something like this to mine when it comes, minus the outer stars.
