Just trying to verify that the stock I need is NON-MILSPEC aka commercial?

I know Colt, LMT, Vltor, CTR-M, Stag Arms are all mil-spec but I have this thought that the EagleArms were made by LMT.

Anyone clarify?

The eagle arms rifle i got from wolverine came with a mil-spec receiver extension . The armalite rifle i got from wolverine did not have a mil-spec receiver extension .

Ya thats where I got confused. I talked to Ryan on the phone from Wolverine and he told me that it came with a mil spec tube.

Any way through looks or markings on the lower that I can identify?

The 2 eagle arms I have at home did not come with a milspec receiver extensions. I would imagine they are available on request from Wolverine.

I thought my Armalite was mil-spec but it is not. Now I need a new receiver
extension for my new stock that is mil-spec.

Wolverine has the mil-spec receiver extensions .

Good to know, thanks guys.

I'll assume that they use the same lowers from the same production for their production rifles, stripped lower and complete lower sales.

Now 93B or CTR, thats the question :D or maybe exotic like a SOPMOD or VLTOR?

What is the difference b/w milspec and commercial tubes? i.e. threads, thickness, length, what? Thx

Bushmaster, DPMS and Rock River Arms are all commercial.

Just got off the phone with John, he said since I got mine about two weeks ago I got one of the newer mil spec ones.

All manufactures should go mil-spec and save us the grief :onCrack:

I was trying to figure this out a while back, and found this on Mag Pul's website, specifically as it relates to installing a CTR stock. A milspec buffer tube will take either a milspec stock or a commercial stock (with some wiggle). The commercial tube will only take the commercial stock.
