After getting two crappy mags from Eagle International for my Remington 597 I decided to give them a call and complain. The lady who answered my call indicated that there was a new revision to the magazines that made them work 100%. She said she would be mailing 2 mags out to me via UPS ASAP. I asked her to put that they were warranty returns so I would not have to pay the 35 bucks to clear them again. She said she would look into it. 1 week later I recieved a phone call from UPS stating that MB Products will be clearing a parcel for me and I would not have to pay anything. 2 days after that my new mags arrived, Eagle International/MB Products had paid the brokerage, GST and PST so I owed UPS nary a cent. That was a very nice touch!
The newer mags double stack the first 10 rounds in the mag and have the same feed angle for round 1 as the 30th round. I packed them into my range bag and headed to the range. I put each magazine 5 times through my rifle and they ran without a hitch. No jams no hiccups just kept chugging along, even when I rapped off the full 30 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger. Am quite pleased with these mags and will be ordering a few more as funds allow.
