I think I hate you! ;)
When did you order them? I've been waiting since the 24th of May! :(
As an aside, I'm going to ask a machinist who does work for me about making the muzzle break. :D

False alarm.
Magazine is still on backorder. They just sent me my hammer and extractor.
:(

finally got to try mine out
out of the 4 i got, 2 of them wont release the hold open lever.
but im still trying to break them in a bit more, hopefully this will solve the problem.
other then that they work great.
now all i need is some one to come out with a speed loader for them.
loading 4 mags = some sore thumbs

This is probably 'apples to oranges', but I've never had a FTE with my 597WMR. In fact - if anything - it probably ejects each casing with too much gusto ...the darn things always fly 2 to 3 positions to my right on the firing line. This has been the case with the factory Remington extractor, as well as the VQ extractor that I upgraded to (shooting CCI 40gr Maxi-Mag).
I have to agree. I have both gen 1 & gen 3 mags for the .22WMR version (2 and 4 respectfully) and I have never had the issues you .22LR guys have. I use pretty much everything except Win Dynapoints in it.

Has anyone got their new mags since the backorder? I've been so stupid busy with the new house that not having them hasn't bothered me yet, but this weekend I might actually have time to do some shooting, and I'm a little dissapointed that mine haven't shown up yet.

Huh, I just had the first opportunity to try my 10/22 30 rd mag from Eagle and it is a piece of crap. I contacted Eagle but haven't heard back yet.
Range Report:
30 rd magazine- I had 3 stove-pipes, 6 failures to feed, 5 failures to eject the spent cartridge before attempting to feed live round, and 6 bent rounds.
All this in 1 single loading of the mag.

That sounds like to got a first generation magazine. I had the same experience with my first two so they sent me two of the improved ones for free (even paid the brokerage fee and taxes) and then I ordered 4 more from rimfiresports.com. Easy way to check is to load 10 rounds and look at the back of the mag, if it is a perfect single colomn of rounds then it is first gen., if it is slightly staggered then it is the new design.

I ordered some last week and they're here....

:eek::mad:
I ordered mine (from Rimfire Sports) back in May.
Told (after a couple of weeks of waiting) that they were back-ordered.
I contacted them again two weeks ago, and I was told they were shipped June 26th.
They're still not here. :(
Someone please help me with the ###y phone voice thing please!! :p

i got all four of mine from rimfiresports. They all work great.
now if somebody comes out with a speedloader it would save my thumbs.
Wonder if i could make a butler creek speedloader work with the eagle mags?

Ah, 1st generation it is... single straight row.

Take a bit of sandpaper and lightly sand the flashing on the mags, this should help with the tightness. As they get used they will allow the bolt to close on a full mag.

Just got mine and its really tight in the receiver as well. Where exactly are you sanding? All around the edges of the top 10 piece (ie on all edges of the piece that goes into the magwell or just in specific areas) ?

Update... sort of.
Still no mags, but now I have Canada Post looking into it:mad:
Was so pissed at the situation, I allowed myself to get lured to the dark side... bought a 10/22 with folding stock and immediately ordered butler creek mags from SIR!(This was on Tuesday. Today I went back and fondled my very first Buckmark rifle... oooooooooo, I feel a layaway coming on :p)

I sand the mold flashing front and back and a bit on the sides. Mags are noticably smoother and quite easy to remove. Just go nice and slow and test fit often... no need to go wild and use a dremel tool. Just hand sand.
