Ok here goes again,

here is my Review of the Eagle stock Pack,I got mine from OneShotTactical

well some shooters don't like this product, but I do and here is why,it fits, holds on to the stock tight holds 5 rds of ammo and the side pocket is big enough that I can put my rifle camo(barrel cover scope cover)Lens cleaning cloth, and a small water proof lighter, I also made may range cards to fit and my ####ty reg cards too!!!

I shoot allot even if its cold and icy out the non-slip cheek piece works and its not uncomfortable to lay prone with you face on it,

It is adjustable enough that one could use it with most types of stock mounted cheek pieces too!!!

I give it an A as an all around product!!

Good review. I also have one and couldn't imagine shooting my LTR without it.

One thing I'll add is that it greatly increases the LCF :D

Eagle stock pack and other gizmos.

very good item for the money.
I use mine for sniper matches.
some stages require 25 rds or so (ex. 5 shots x 5 positions)
I start with 7 in the mag (Rem 700 with Brownell's mag ext. to 6 rds)
5 on the loops and the rest in the zipped pocket. works great even under stress of the speed drills. I would rather have a Badger Ord. detach mag. system installed with one 5 and one 10 rd mags but the 500$ US price tag (+ gunsmith chg) just makes me cringe.

I also advise to get a rear bean bag. Light and very useful in the field. same price as the stock pack at triadtactical.com; Steve is a nice guy to deal with. He even remembers some of his highschool french !

If you want to go all the way then you must get a Tac-Comp brake and a Tactical knob. Those can be installed easily by your local gunsmith.

Here's a pic of my rig. before the mag. ext and tac knob were installed.

The mag. ext. is the best buy item I feel. 18$ at Brownells :) .

Cheers!

Nice LR Rig dude!!!!I make my own "Bean Bags" out of Multi-cam Cordura and I use Rice or Plactic beads as filler!!

I'm going to order one for my 10FP tomorrow and was thinking it might be able to do double duty on my 10/22 when I'm out for gophers using my Breacher's Sling that Jamie talked me into. (It's a very nice sling BTW.) How many 22lr rounds do you think would fit in the zippered compartment? I ususally dump 3 or 4 boxes into a cheap fanny pack before I go for a walk in a pasture.

you could get at least 4 boxes of 22lr in the stock pack,oh and you need to get a M-24 sling for your Savage!!!
