EAL Lee Enfield

Mine has the C broad arrow on the barrel knox, At first I thought it was an A inside a C. Is this a military stamp making the gun military or would it have been stamped on the barrel before the rifle was assembled?
 
C-/l\ mark was discontinued in 1947/48. While it continued to occasionally be used into the early 50s with some regularity, by the late 50s/early 60s, when these rifles were built, it would be an quite a rarity. As Cantom says, it will be the CA mark.
