Now will someone PLEASE explain why they put a civillian sight on the military model and a military sight on the civillian model?

they made them for the Air Force, thats why the military verson looks more like a sporter then the civi version

The bedding compound is very visible?

I just got home from the owner of this EAL's house. After very close personal inspection I can verify 100% that there is no bedding compound. This rifle is untouched and original...the only thing in the forend is wood.

BTW, Badger, he'd be pleased to have the rifle photographed for a Milsurps entry, but he's personally not much into photography.

If has a friend who can take the shots, then email or snail mail them to us on CD, we could take it from there.

I think you're familiar with the sequential (front to back) photo montage layouts we use, so that format would be great.
