After a 7 month wait, our New Zealand trophies arrived. It was great to see them again...what a rush of great memories. They took a bit longer than normal because we had our possum hides tanned there and man, they are so soft it's unreal. Customs was super easy to deal with and they didn't get crazy with the GST so pretty awesome day all round. Now to just get them up to Curtis and let him work his magic. Can't wait to get them on the wall and to go back to New Zealand. What an awesome trip.

It was cool in the mornings, often below freezing but it did warm up during the day day for the most part. The few days we tahr hunted were really warm. We were there in late April and early May.

It's actually pretty affordable. I thought once would be lots but aftering being there, I definitely want to experience more of it. We just saw the South Island so it would be cool to check out the North Island.
 
That's pretty cool! You sure had a exciting year so far eh!
A while back you were looking for a good water filter. I think for your Marco/Ibex hunt.
Mind if I ask which one you chose and how it performed?
