Not going to write a big long story as there is just too much I could talk about but we survived the early goose season and smashed a few birds in the process. Jamie, Scott, and Rick arrived on the first Saturday around 5:30 a.m while Chad and I scouted a shoot for Sunday hopefully. It was tough finding birds at first so we expanded our search parameters and were able to locate some geese to kick off the second week of the season. Two days into the hunting the migration turned on full tilt and fields started filling up. We had a few real good days afield, lots of laughs and some good viewing watching dogs work birds, birds work dekes and shooters having good and bad moments both but all in all it was one heck of an early goose season. We ended with one goose and one duck band. Everything went off without a hitch Here are some pics, I will post more when a few others are emailed to me...............enjoy!
