Earthquake gun report

Oh I remember bigedp51 made the headspace posts, I was checking if bigedp51 did, or if the plane/giraffe incident was so traumatic that he went blank after it, and several cases of beverages to soften the horror. We have to bring up the Yankee brass, because you folks keep saying uncharitable things about the Ross rifle!:):p

Are you saying that cartridge cases made in Canada are not made to SAAMI standards. I thought the Atlantic Ocean separated SAAMI and CIP standards.

Also you are confused about us Yanks, it was the British who had all the bad things to say about the Ross rifle in WWI.

I might be a Yank but I practice being a Canadian when studying about the Long Branch Enfield rifle. :D

Nice Parka Dude! (that's a compliment up here)

The Air Force Parka I'm wearing in the photo was reported lost to the U.S. Air Force in 1973 and cost me $37.50, it was so warm I had to loose another one before I was discharged. :D

Aim High, Air Force, C-141 Air Evacs Yokota AFB Japan During the Viet Nam war. The parkas were to big to wear when inspecting the wheel wells so I always wore my field jacket and the parka stayed nice and new in my locker. (until they were lost)

My piece of Red Cross tail from the first C-141 to land in Hanoi North Viet Nam that brought the POWs back home.

Original post had to be a joke...little 'ol earthquake actually harm an Enfield? C'mon!

For "your" beer, Sam Adams is tolerable...

I have eaten Caribou taken with a Twin-Otter but, n'er tasted Giraffe!

All this shows...there's a few of us with too much time and, bandwidth on our hands!

That`s DOMINION if you are in Newfoundland, of course. They still haven`t forgotten.

Personally, I preferred BLUE STAR, being only a Newfie by adoption.

So there are exactly THREE beers I can drink.... and none of them are available here.

Good reason not to drink, I would think.
.

The smell of mutton and onions no man could ask for more,
We were chug-luggin' Dominion when a Mountie walked in the door

This thread is going well, maybe I will post.

Thank you for you elequent reply. It is pearls of wisdom like this that bring me back to cgn, time and time again. Knowing that I can tap into the infinite depths of knowledge you display makes me feel small in the swirling cosmos of liguistic treasures I'm sure you will share with us next. I wait with bated breath for your reply.

so what the hell do you do with the dead giraffe? can you eat them? and how high is the meat pole for a giraffe?, as for beer guinness, ricards red and sapporo.
