Easiest on the eyes adjustable magnification scope that goes to at least 12x.

I want a scope for shooting out to about 300 meters that has great eye relief. I find I waste a lot of time taking a shot and then trying to find the picture again, then I blink and it is gone again. That has been my experience with my 24x scope.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, price range from 0 to 1000.00. As close to the 0 as possible of course

In your price range - the Zeiss Conquest 3-12 or 4.5-14, or Meopta 3-12.

They both have fast sight pictures & generous eyeboxes.

Burris, vortex, redfield take your pick. You can get some very good glass for under $500 from any of those 3

What scope are you using?
What rifle? / cal

Are you shooting with one eye or both eyes open?

Sounds to me like you do not have a good cheek weld / or finching

As i understand it the basic scope info
the bigger the front lens the more light it gathers

the more magnification it has, the more it shrinks the light exiting the rear lens

so the higher the magnification the easer it is to loose the sight picture

Try turning your 24 power scope down to 12 it should make it easer to keep the sight picture

or try some thing to get a better cheek weld
