I am in Ottawa, and I want to attach a barrel nut on my AR. I was looking at a grease called AeroShell 33ms or Mobil 1 Synthetic bearing grease; something with no graphite and moly. Does anyone know if either one is available around here, or another option that would be more readily available?

Thanks in advance for any help you can manage.

Thanks 604 shooter, I ordered a tube.

I will never use all of it though, do you guys think anyone would be interested in buying it in smaller amounts if I sold most of it off in smaller containers?

AeroShell 33 MS is a lithium base grease in a synthetic carrier containing 5% moly. The moly acts as an antiseize and also prevents the metal reaction between the barrel steel and the aluminum receiver threads. It has a very wide temperature operating range. There are several automotive/machinery greases that are very similar and less expensive as the aviation AeroShell product is certified, batch tested and dated to meet avation regulations. It runs around $25 a standard grease cartridge tube where as a similar automotive or industrial product would be in the $5 to $10 in a quality moly grease.Hope this helps--Dieseldog!
