I've never had anything to do with the conversions.... so far. So this is really good info for me.
There's certainly room in the frame for a 1.65'ish size cylinder but much more and fitting of the hand would become a problem. In fact I dare say that with the size difference quick swapping from cap and ball to conversion and back likely is not possible due to the fitment of the hand and how the height of the hand will affect the internal timing of the action. So it's one or the other at a time.
Do you guys figure that is the case as well?
