My Son on the range...Paid $140 for it back in 93. It still had cosmoline on it. The rifle is mint.

That's makes it Polish-made, at Radom. They're probably the best made MNs out there. Fit and finish is outstanding.

I got mine around '89 for $110 at a gunshow.

I bought 3 of them wrapped in cosmoline and paper right out of a freshly opened crate back in the mid 80's for $125.00 each. Awesome little rifles. The fit and finish is the best I have ever seen on any military rifle. I kept 2 original, as collectors and did the cardinal sin( I have since seen the error of my ways!!) and sportered the other one. I have shot a lot of deer with that little gun. That little rifle is unbelievably accurate with my handloads. Definitely one of my most favorite rifles. The safety was a bugger until a very knowledgable gunsmith advised me to snip off a 2 or 3 turns of the spring. He said the spring was purposely overly powerful to compensate for the freezing sub arctic conditions they had to use the guns in. The safety is much easier to operate now and has never failed to fire.
