apply stain with soft 1 inch brush "SOFT" Dilute color with water if its to dark, or put on straight. 20 min between coats . After you get the color your looking for, let stock dry overnight.
NOT all wood absorbs the same ! Not all wood looks the same with the same color. Example- I am doing a china sks,...this wood SOAKS the color like crazy and turns out WAY darker ! Its really testing my patience. I have striped it off once so far AARRGGG!
Remember YOU MUST BAKE the stock..there is TONS of oil in it !! If you don't get the oil out,..the clear will be full of tiny pimples. I had to bake this china stock 60 times !! I wont do another !! Far less oil in the Russian stock. I tried doing the stock Purple but it turned Black..friggen china wood.
This is very time consuming, 7 days.
