i called at 10am when i was at work and was told they could do nothing over the phone for me.
so i logged into the web site and couldnt find either of the 2 guns i was looking for.
couldnt find them last night either when i was looking.

money in hand, looking to spend!

And I was in with the 10am "riff raff" non-member crowd that acted as doormen for almost an hour. You didn't have to rush in at 9am to get a deal or three. Much, much better than the Calgary Gun Show. The affable guys who stood patiently outside the door actually had a good time B.S.ing for the duration. Met some fine fellows who came all the way down from Whitecourt for the Calgary sales. They mentioned people coming south from Grande Prairie for the deals!

Unexpected bonus? I finally met the "Canadian" (actually a Calgarian) featured in the Nutnfancy Shot Show 2013 video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygJyFDkO7SY&list=PLQqu4rcDS5PWl2uoqKGZinFrrwh4t7F4V&index=9 . Seemed to be a nice character, at least on par with the new "Mantracker" who I ran into later at the gun show.

just came back.

Pretty good sales, im still kicking myself for not getting an SKS for 189....(i dont even have one yet but i promised the girlfriend no more guns till i buy a house, other then the T97 IF it ever comes)

i did get a 100 pack of ear buds for 7 bucks. Good deal. Picked up some .22 reseting targets for little_airwolf

i think 125 or 150 12 gauge 00 was 120 bucks?
 
Meh...

Disappointed with the 9mm and .22 ammo prices (and availability), but picked up 1600 rnds .223. Decent price.

Lots of hype, and lots of fun.
 
just placed an order for a Fabarm XLR composite. just couldn't pass up buying a new gun when it's 20% off.

Good sale as usual TSE and JR! I was happy to pick up a $10 .22 rifle from you all, not to mention $10 ear pro, but day I shoulda grabbed that No4 Mk1 sporter for $50 too, made me cry as I was walking around the gun show seeing the same thing for several times the price.
 
I walked in after the gun show around 2pm - no no waiting, no line ups, and while still busy, it wasn't a gong show like the morning.
Plenty of deals to be had still.

I'm sure there's lots of good deals to be had still but its just not worth the hastle. If in store items aren't updated online how's one to know if its there, ya ya I could call and maybe get through. But who wants to price stock/price check 20 items, not this guy. Good work though TSE, sounds like I wish I could have been there in person and get some great deals some of the others are talking about.

I phoned in and the girl basically said she wasnt gonna walk over to check. Those are the only 2 things I am looking to confirm and am not driving down without knowing the price / round count....

Can anyone help?
