Your provincial membership should be fine

Wouldn't he have to get a DCRA membership as well. I believe since it is a DND range that the DCRA membership will cover the insurance needed seeing as how Homestead is a private range and not affiliated with the DND so a DCRA m'ship is not required.

I sent an email to the DCRA asking for clarification on this issue a couple of weekss ago but have not yet received a reply. I'll bug them again and post whatever response I receive.

I received a reply from the DCRA today regarding membership requirements for competitors at this match.

A DCRA Associate ($55) membership will be needed in order to fire the match. If you already have a limited associate membership you can upgrade. If you already have a full or associate membership you are covered for the match.

The match fee does not include DCRA membership. It is also DCRA practice to require that shooters from provinces which require conjoint PRA/DCRA membership, also be members of their PRA. (This applies to Manitoba, Ontario, BC and I'm not sure where else).

You can purchase your membership at the same time you register or you can join now for the year. Membership applications are available upon request form the DCRA.Visit w ww.dcra.ca for more information.

Thought so, good to know for sure though

We have been bumped by 33 brigade. As of yesterday they have reserved the entire range for the week. We hopefully will know by the end of the day if we can salvage something.

No s**t, Tom and i have booked flights to Ottawa, that will really suck as they are non refundable. How does this just come about after the range has already been booked?

On this post just above this post you will see avitar Barry Price he is chairman of F class at the NCRRA his email is

continental@bellnet.ca

I am a member of NCRRA and we are trying to add the Eastern Canadian F class Championships shoot with the TR shooters Longrange Challange shoot on June 29 to July 1 weekend.
We hope to confirm this by this weekend.
Maybe you could change your bookings for flites to Ottawa ??

To other members would this weekend fit into your summer to attend ??

Ok Gentlemen, it is official. I tried to change dates and event venue (CFB Borden), but we are stuck with the July 1st weekend in Ottawa. Format will stay the same and a new entry form will be up on the NCRRA site within the day. For those that have already sent your entry in, I will contact you by E-mail asking if you still want to go and I will use that entry.

NO entry fees have been deposited as of yet, so I will return any cheques I have received if you can’t come.

We are confirming how many targets we can get for the Friday afternoon (I will know by tonight) so that we can do practice and Bruce Condie can have a team practice.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope we still have a good showing.
