Thanks for that! I recognized a few of the photos (standard propaganda shots of Lyudmila Pavlichenko and Vasily Zaytsev tend to stick out), but most of those shots were very new to me.

This one is cool!! I like that the one Russian Female Soldier is using an "Amoeba" pattern camouflage smock, as material for her skirt!!! Brilliant!!

Incredible bits of history there, just spent the last hour going through the first link, have not even gotten to the second yet.

I find it very easy to get lost in thought looking through those kind of albums of the Allied forces in the war. Such a different time I grew up in thanks to those kinds of men, I can't express how thankful I am for the peace I have enjoyed in my lifetime thanks to them.

Words fail me looking at history like that.

Note the "stray dog" in the first link, purportedly a Brit sniper in the Ardennes. The mag isn't seated in his No4 Mk1 T and there is snow in/on the action, both omissions likely to cause him some grief.
