easy one...what is a stripper clip?

I have a bunch of them for my sks...i thought i had an idea what they were before id seen them, now im stumped...what are they / how are they used?

Holds usually five rounds that can be fed into the rifles magazine from the top. yours are prob metal however i have also seen plastic ones

the ones i have hold 10 and are they just for speed loading the internal mag Or do they somehow stay there when cycling?...i wonder if theres a video...

You place the charger in the slot and push down on the cartridges. The cartridges stack in the mag. You then withdraw the charger and you are done. Faster than inserting a magazine for most.
