Hey Folks,

I found a kit at Princess Auto that I bought and used to make the wife a bench in the basement. Having said that, it would make an excellent kit for a reloading bench or a workbench. The kit is just the legs (you buy the lumber) and will make a bench up to 4x8. It says it will hold 1000lbs a shelf. Total time to build once I picked up the kit and the lumber was about 90 minutes. I have used the simpson kit to build a bench in the past, and this kit from princess auto goes together much quicker and easier.

Bought a steel one at Princess as well I got the large 880 lbs one (which I'm convinced I could rest a chevy big block on if needed).... barely moves even when de-capping S&B 9mm.... old picture but too messy to photo now lots of projects...

I built one with 2x4s and it's bolted into my garage wall, and resting on 2x4 on the concrete floor.
used 2 layers of 3/4 inch hardwood for the top(but you could also just use 2 layers of 3/4 plywood), with another layer of 3/4 under the press as a base.
Tust me, it's not going anywhere when I reload.

I've made myself a very rugged table top that mounts onto workmate legs. I have a 1.5" thick plywood top (2x 3/4 laminated together) with 3/4" maple front, back and edges. The table is held to the workmate with 4x 1/2" bolts, Ill post the drawings if I can find them.
