Easy way for correct OAL check

Using the pistol's chamber as the gauge has always been the best way. Assuming you don't have calipres.

That has been my go to check for setting up dies for pistol ammo, can't go wrong if the round fits in the barrel of the gun that is going to shoot it. The only variable could be the length which could affect feeding but cycling a few dummy rounds through the pistol made the same will check that too.
