Eating Roadkill Grouse

Yeah they taste alot like chicken. I like to keep the spices & seasoning to a minimum so I can actually taste the meat but to each his own. I think my favorite way is to marinate in italian dressing and then fry it in butter.

When I worked for an Armored Car company, we had a driver nail a grouse, stop the truck, pick it up and then seal it in a debit machine cash collection bag for that night's dinner...

After that I'm pretty sure he went out of his way to hit deer on the clock too!

Whatever you do make sure you kill it the first time, and if you cant, dont call the police if you want to keep it (speaking mostly about deer here.) Saw an elderly lady hit a deer a couple of summers ago, before I could even get to talk to her she was on the phone with the police, the thing wasnt dead but they wouldnt let us put it out of its misery. They would rather have it suffer for more than half an hour while they drove out to do exactly what I would have.

I'd eat it...and enjoy it too. I love those tasty little chickens. My favorite way to prepare them are: Fillet the meat off the bone, marinate in BBQ sauce, add crushed Doritos Spicy nacho chips, add salt, pepper, butter, and onions. Wrap in tin foil and cook over fire for about a half hour. Delicious!
